When it comes to copywriting, you won’t want to only use your phone as a resource to write. A phone is, in our opinion, uncomfortable to write with and you will quickly see how often your job gets delayed if you try to write on one.
To truly be a copywriter, you will definitely need tools like a laptop or tablet. Remember: copywriting goes far beyond typing a few lines in a document. You will also have to do SEO research, editing, corrections, and more. On a laptop or computer, doing this work will be more easy and comfortable, and you will have more control over what you are doing.
That said, using your phone is a good option for basic tasks like checking your email, answering team questions, and using apps that facilitate the work.
You can also preview a blog post on your phone. Every time we post something like a blog, we make sure to check it out on our phones. After all, an important part of the job is checking that your work looks great on every device.
We also use our phones for client calls, which allows us to continue our job while we are talking and taking notes. Copywriting has for sure taught us how to multitask!
