Keshet Kitchen, a new Israeli restaurant serving Middle Eastern comfort food owned by Chef Sharon Shvarzman, announces its Grand Opening for Pride 2021 on Friday, June 25, 2021 at 2pm at 705 E Passyunk Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19147. The name “Keshet” means “rainbow” in Hebrew, and Shvarzman is excited to spread joy and pride through his dishes for the Grand Opening event. With help from his partner and Co-Owner Abraham Bloom, Shvarzman will serve rainbow wafer cakes and other Pride-colored desserts.

Opening his restaurant in March 2021 during the COVID-19 pandemic, Shvarzman wants to be part of the Philly community and support it through his comforting Middle Eastern cooking. He wants to be part of the community’s lives whenever they need a little happiness–he believes that food can bridge gaps and bring people together, especially during Pride.
